New Year’s Resolutions

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

Hello.
I’m John, an 18 year old senior at Zionsville High School, however unfortunate that may be. In the fall I will most likely be going to the University of Montana located in Missoula. I have one brother, Chris, who goes to the Indiana Academy on the Ball State campus. I have lived in Z-ville for all my life. Plus for those of you who didn’t know my parents are divorced. (I live with my mother) By the time that this message is e-mailed New Year’s will almost be upon us.

I hate this as much as you do, but it’s tradition and tradition must be followed, so the question must be asked. What are your New Year’s resolutions?

What’s that? You haven’t made yours yet, great, now’s your chance. But before you get started, let me lay down some simple rules.

—————————
Ground Rules:

–Nothing to do with losing/gaining (those of you eating dorm food) weight
–Nothing to do with smoking
–The fourth item can have nothing to do with buying yourself something

~One of them has to be spiritually oriented
~One has to deal with your relations to others
~One must deal with lifestyle
~One must be to do something that you’ve been meaning to do for some time

*Upon deciding on your resolutions you must hit the reply button change the ‘mail to:’ to whoever you want, and send your resolutions and an explanation to someone that will hold you accountable for them.

Mine are as follows:
~ To keep my Faith when I go to college thousands of miles away.
~ To cut down on the sarcasm
~ To work on my discipline of study and finish college better than I did high school. I would say finish my senior year strong, but that would be setting myself up for failure.
~ I messed up a friendship and it has been haunting me for some time. My resolution is to mend that.
~ in addition I vow to learn C (programming language) and to complete the Superior Hiking Trail (200 mi) over the summer.

Good Luck with yours.

in His name
