First Anniversary of 9/11/01

FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11/01

REMEMBER

On this, the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States, I find it hard to write the words for this message. All that comes to mind is the word REMEMBER…

REMEMBER the 3,025 innocent victims who’s lives were ended for reasons they would never know.

REMEMBER the families who will never be whole again.

REMEMBER that this was not just an attack on the United States but an attack on the world as citizens of many nations were also killed at the three sites.

REMEMBER your reaction to the tragedy.

REMEMBER the members of the armed forces who are at risk to protect our freedoms.

REMEMBER the families of the armed forces who quietly serve.

REMEMBER all the people, soldier, sailors, airmen and civilians, who have given the ultimate sacrifice over the past 226 years so that this country may be free.

REMEMBER the important things in life: faith, family and friends.

REMEMBER God who is always present even in those times we think He is distant.

REMEMBER that Good will conquer Evil.

REMEMBER that God calls upon us all to love one another.

REMEMBER that God created no two people alike and our differences are a
celebration of God’s creative abilities.

REMEMBER to reach out to others.

REMEMBER that God Loves You.

God did not promise days without pain,
Laughter without sorrow,
Sun without rain,
But He did promise strength for the day,
Comfort for the tears,
And light for the way.

REMEMBER
