Remembering 9/11

REMEMBERING 9/11

Wednesday, September 11th is just two days away. I don’t have to remind you of the significance of this day in our nation’s, and the world’s, history.

Please prepare now to remember the first anniversary of this tragic day. Here are a few ideas that have been sent to me.

* Everyone who will be driving a motor vehicle is asked to drive with their headlights on during daylight hours.

* Wear RED, WHITE & BLUE to work or school to show your support for those who lost their lives on 9~11~01 and to honor the heroes who worked to save them and the families left behind. Remember, also, those of other nations besides the United States who lost citizen’s in the terrorist attack.

* At NOON your time, no matter where you are or what you are doing, stop, put your hand on your heart, and say the Pledge of Allegiance out loud or to yourself and say a prayer for our nation. If all of us do this together in every time zone around the world, we will have a powerful chain of thoughts surrounding us.

My prayers are with all of you who have been impacted, directly or indirectly, by this dark event in our lives.
