SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY!
I hope that all of you had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. I also trust that you kept in your prayers everyone who has fought and died so that we may enjoy all the freedoms they won for us, including the freedom to worship our Lord and Savior. This is a freedom given to us by Christ and preserved through the years by the many known and unknown who have fallen in battle.
Please also keep in your prayers all the school children. They are finishing up their school activities. Pray they have a safe and wonderful summer vacation and that next year’s school year be safe and non-violent.
I would appreciate it if you would pray for Betty S., one of the original E-Mail Ministry subscribers. I have mentioned her prayer needs in the past. Her divorce becomes final June 16, 1999 which just happens to be her 32nd Wedding Anniversary. She is in the process of selling the home she raised her children in and moving into a condo. To add to all this, her company is downsizing the account she is working on.
I appreciate the responses I received concerning “Cowboy for Christ”‘s prayer request. I forwarded them on to him/her.
Six months ago, on December 3, 1998, E-Mail Ministry was launched with the first message “Dear Friend” (still one of my favorites). In these past six months 68 messages have been sent out to a list of people that started with 15 and has grown to 239 – a 58% month over month growth! At this rate after one year there would be over 3,600 people subscribed – keep up the good work everyone, you are doing the Good Work!
I have reconfigured the E-Mail Ministry web site. Feel free to check it out. I am still working on some of it so it is work in progress. Thanks to all who have sent me contributions for the Church Humor page. I will be posting them soon. The May archives are now on the web site.
